All application interfaces use a common signal-processing system. Each element of this system can be enabled or disabled separately and has its own settings. The transformations are applied in the following order:
- Selection of data type (Type): RAW (raw data) or Filtered (pre-filtered in the 3–100 Hz range with a 50 Hz notch filter)
- Trim: Removal of marked artifact segments
- CAR (Common Average Reference): Re-referencing to a common reference electrode
- Denoise (blink artifact suppression): Wavelet processing to remove blinks
- Normalize: Amplitude normalization
- IMF (Empirical Mode Decomposition): Decomposition into modes
- Filter: Band-pass filtering
- Epoch: Averaging over epochs
- Power/Amplitude: Conversion to power or amplitude
